Passion #3

is Helping People..
it's not aways easy to do.. especially if i'm being constantly barraged by self-centeredness.. it's always a challenge to think of others first and yourself last..

what i do, to make it a bit easier, is i always think of how God has blessed me over the years.. and i believe one purpose why God has always blessed me is so that i can share it to others and not keep it to myself. also, just remember "WWJD: What Would Jesus Do?" and you'd always want to put others first and serve them..

today had been great. i volunteered to help in the feeding program that St. Paul University Manila holds every sunday for the streetkids and the homeless in the area. It was a privilege for me to be able to help prepare their food and serve them. because they are our brothers too.. :)

Matthew 25:40 (NKJV) says,
And the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."

i have experienced what it's like to be in need and have people come to my aid. it's really a blessing. i'll always be thankful to Him and for the people who stand by me. it's nice to be loved and cared for. but you can't keep the love.. we have to pass it on.. around.. to others. today, that's exactly what i did!

to God be all the glory!

Passion #1

i live for God! and i intend to make Him known..
although i'm not as vocal.. and i don't see myself as a speaker [yeah, maybe someday.. who knows] i'm just gonna have to make Him known through my writings..

i've been a Christian my whole life.. i was raised in a Christian home by Christian parents.. attended sunday school and worship services.. participated in church activities and became involved in church groups.. but then, only when i finished college did i really become passionate for Christ! only then did i really experience what it was like to live life in him and for him..

and you know what? it's the best decision i've ever made in my entire life.. accepting Christ and re-dedicating my life to him.. He's my everything!

to celebrate life in Christ, i'm making a page dedicated to Him alone.. about my faith walks with him and the wonderful blessings he has showered me.. Christ is the only one that can make us complete.. He alone can fill that void in us..

i've always loved LIFE!

life to me, has always been this precious blessing from above.. one that i'm grateful to share with other people and the rest of the world..

life is all about making the best of what we have right now.. enjoying the "NOW" and not being too preoccupied with the past and the future.. life is taking hold of "today"..

life is living each day as an offering to God.. a service to people around you.. life is ultimately about HIM.. it's a reflection of His goodness and grace..
